Having practiced psychotherapy since 1999, Emily specializes in working with young adult women. Using strength-based, solution focused therapy techniques, CBT, and mindfulness, she incorporates experiential approaches to her work. Emily is  trained in EMDR, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and also Brainspotting.

Emily enjoys working primarily with college and graduate students. Many of the University of Colorado students Emily works with are experiencing anxiety and feel overwhelmed. This is Emily's primary area of focus.

Emily works with clients to help them find their own strengths and be inspired to build upon them. She has a strong clinical background and has worked on crisis teams, in day treatment settings, hospitals, and schools.

Emily was a double major at Skidmore college in Psychology and Dance. She also has an MA from Naropa University in Somatic Psychology.

She grew up in MN and has lived in Boulder, CO. since 1996. She loves to dance, ski, hike, do yoga, play pickleball, and be in the mountains.

She is warm, welcoming, and is available to see clients either in person or online.
